David J. Brenner

David J. Brenner, Ph.D., D.Sc., directs the Center for Radiological Research at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He is also Director at the Radiological Research Accelerator Facility. Dr. Brenner is a theoretical physicist with his area of interest being mathematical and physics-related solutions to biological problems. In particular, he studies the use of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation for disease prevention.

Dr. Arash Moradzadeh

Arash Moradzadeh, MD, is trained in head and neck surgery as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He graduated from Washington University, where he received training in facial, sinus and neck procedures. Dr. Moradzadeh has published multiple scientific articles.

Dr. Kristi Wrightson

Dr. Kristi Wrightson, ND, MS, RD, is a board-certified naturopathic doctor who focuses on natural healing methods. She has established and runs NEST, an integrative medicine spa that combines methods of modern science with ancient healing treatments. Dr. Wrightson graduated from Bastyr University, which is the world’s leading naturopathic university, where she received her Master’s in Nutrition. At present, she is a member of the California Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Lauren Streicher

Lauren Streicher, MD, is a clinical professor who is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received training at Northwestern University, McGaw Medical Center and Michael Reese Medical Center. She has several publications on the treatment of menopause-related issues. Dr. Streicher is also engaged in advising and consulting for Church & Dwight Co., Inc. and DEKA Research & Development Corporation.

Dr. Ronald A. Popper

Dr. Ronald A. Popper is board certified in Sleep Disorders Medicine and is considered to be one of the pioneers in sleep medicine. He established The Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center, where he currently holds the position of Medical Director. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Poppers delivers lectures and publishes articles on obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.

Professor Mark Johnson Ph.D.

Mark Johnson Ph.D. is a Professor of Pain and Analgesia at Leeds Beckett University. He heads the Centre for Pain Research in the university’s School of Clinical and Applied Sciences. Mark received training in neurophysiology at the University of Leeds and obtained his Ph.D. in Pain Science from the University of Newcastle. His areas of interest include TENS, laser therapy, acupuncture, and drug medication as pain-relieving treatments.

Sharon Puszko, Ph.D.

Sharon Puszko, Ph.D., graduated from the University of California with a major in education and in 1986, she graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and Health Builders School of Massage Therapy. In addition to her private practice, she takes part in St. Vincent’s Hospice Care Program. Sharon has been teaching massage techniques traveling all over the world.

Dr. Todd Humphreys

Dr. Todd Humphreys is an Assistant Professor in the Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics department at The University of Texas. His areas of interest include orbital and attitude dynamics, satellite navigation, and signal processing. Dr. Humphreys is the head of Austin-based Radionavigation Laboratory where GPS technology is studied.

Kelly Starrett

Dr. Kelly Starrett is a trainer, physical therapist, and speaker. In 2007, he received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. In 2009, he launched his fitness website MobilityWOD. Kelly is among the TOP 100 most influential persons in health and fitness.

Ernesto Leal Junior

Ernesto Leal Junior, Professor, Ph.D., Head of the Laboratory of Phototherapy in Sports and Exercise at Nove de Julho University in Brazil. He is also the research leader of Multi Radiance Medical. Ernesto has a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree from the University of Vale do Paraiba, Brazil. In 2010, he defended his Ph.D. thesis at the University of Bergen, Norway.

Richard D. Singer

Douglas R., a medical doctor in pediatrics, reviews our guides to health-related gadgets. He is a graduate of Wright University School of Graduate and has experience in handling health issues in both children and seniors. Douglas R. also worked with pharmaceutical companies producing drugs and supplements. As a medical writer, he cooperated with Novartis’ Publishing Endeavors and Pinnacle of Excellence Program in 2007 and 2008 and was engaged in writing continuing education manuscripts.

Pedro Bernardes

Pedro Bernardes, a sport science teacher and personal trainer, reviews the guides that cover gadgets for active lifestyle. He has experience in teaching sports in public schools and fitness in gyms. Mr. Bernardes has been working both as a personal trainer and group classes instructor, teaching fitness, football, tennis, and swimming. In 2017, Pedro Bernardes started his Master degree in Sports.
